Who Is God?
"Who is God?" I asked. I looked above me, through the trees as He was looking down into my eyes, though I could not see Him. "Daddy, who is God? Anne told me not to take his name in vain. God is someone's name?" Daddy explained over the course of a weekend that God is the one who makes everything. Did he make this parking lot? The answer came back negative. Did he make that farmhouse? No. Did he make the cows? Did he make the corn? Did he make the trees? Yes, yes, yes. Did he make me? Yes, God even made you. It was then that I understood God to be the being that made all things living.

I gather wool from my sheep by brushing their fur. It is very simple.
Today I found out that I'm allergic to impure lanolin. Some people are allergic to lanolin that has not been purified, and I have never taken out the lanolin from my wool, which is done by boiling the wool. All I do is soak the wool in hot water and original dish soap flavor. Then I gently agitate it with my hands. Afterward I go to town in making a few wooly beads. This afternoon, which is my third attempt at making beads, my right palm developed an itchy rash. It went away after I washed my hands with dish soap, then peppermint soap, then icing it, then going on the internet. It is sort of like forgetting that you are hiccuping, but all of a sudden you realize that they are gone.

Top of The Morning to You
Today I have to get all my supplies ready for this coming school semester! I will not let anything stop me from getting my PhD. One day at a time is all it takes. Why stop at a bachelor's degree, I tell myself. I'm going to continue to through school until they tell me to go away...maybe I'll just keep getting degrees. I know a man who is an art professor, and he already had about fourteen degrees...he's pretty up there in age.

Packaged Nicely
It doesn't matter what anyone else says, "Appearance does matter." A good example of this was experienced when my mother went shopping in her sweats at Raley's Supermarket. The butcher was not as attentive or helpful as he was when she decided to dress up next time. People care more for you if you care about yourself and care enough to look nice.

I love Bob
I love Bob. Tonight I was thinking about it, so I googled "I love Bob." It feels like I married a clone. Too many Bobs...enough to start an "I love Bob" club. Bob proposed to me when he had barely any money, so he tied a hand-cut strap of soft leather around my left wrist. (I long for more of those special moments.) Then he made a few promising vows to me and I said, "I do." He said we were "now married," but it was more of an engagement. We were married three months later, and now it has been two years. I love Bob. -Danger Dan

See the Beautiful
To inspire myself toward thoughts of grandeur in God's creation, I decided to take out my pen every time I see something beautiful. Then I draw it. This always changes my mood for the better.
Beauty Tip
Are you in need of a tan, but don't have the time to sit in the sun before your date comes, or you don't have the money for a few tanning sessions? Grab your shaver, bronzer and lotion. First shave and lotion your legs. Now that your legs are shaved and moisturized, you can add a little color to those ivory beauties! Just dip your poofy bronzing brush into your POWDER bronzer, make a thick zig zag pattern on your legs, squirt lotion into your hand and rub it over the bronzer until both are mixed. Rub the creamy, brown lotion into your legs until it soaks in. Don't try any creamy foundations to cover up veiny legs. It may come off on your clothes or furniture.
Now your legs are shimmery and tan! Enjoy your night out with no worries!

The sauce:
Original Flavor Almondmilk

Decoupage This
This is so easy! Decoupage a few lighters with your favorite magazine clippings. Just paint elmer's glue on the backside, lay the clipping onto the lighter so it covers the brand name, and paint elmer's glue over the entire surface of the clipping. Viola! Now let dry and light 'em up!
Hope you like my first post. I will have pics soon.
